Scorpion

I think that spiders get too much attention in their fear factor. Not to say that they aren’t deserving of fear, but what about giving some credit to this arachnid. The scorpion is just as intimidating if not more so. I found modeling this creature to be quite entertaining, and I experimented with a handful of different textures as you do. In the end I really found the black and red to be the most appropriate match, but what do you think?
